Stoke Climsland

At present, there are no meetings being arranged for this parish except one, see below.

The Mid-Tamar local group of Cornwall Wildlife Trust is still listed in the Wild Cornwall magazine but we have not been notified of any activities.

There is great interest in local habitats and the diversity of wildlife around the area but as a Parish, their species records did not form part of our LAPWG database. Individual recorders send to the Records Centre at Allet or use ERICA.

Plants, moths and local landscape history, ecology & conservation are the main interests.

One local event in 2017~

1.00pm  In conjunction with Butterfly Conservation, Richard Vulliamy will be leading a walk around the reserve to see the Heath Fritillary butterflies. These were reintroduced some years ago now and numbers were good last year. There are some interesting plants, especially orchids.
