It's the time of year when we need to hold our AGM but it will be very short (we have already planned our programme for the year) so if the weather is kind, we will celebrate the signs of spring on a walk around Crackington. Gill, our secretary, knows the area really well and has suggested that we leave off deciding on the exact route until the day when we can see what the weather is like.

It's such a great area for walks and so much choice between hidden sheltered valleys and/or clifftops with stunning views far out to sea and up & down the coast. We will see plenty of spring flowers, birds and butterflies in the sunshine.

One thing is certain, at least one hill will be involved and this year, one of our members has kindly volunteered to run a taxi from the bottom, where ever that is, back up to the top. Thank you Mike!

If the weather is dire, we will bring a laptop/projector to show our best pictures from 2016; or we can practise first aid or even have a quiz.

Please do not trust using your sat-nav to find the hall because some of the lanes are very narrow. Instead, click here to view a clear map of the area.

11am. Meet at the hall for coffee and cake.

11:15am. Run through a very short AGM to approve the accounts and officers.

11:40am.  Start on the walk or plan indoor activities.

Bring a snack or packed lunch to eat on the walk.

Depending on the weather etc, we will return to the hall mid afternoon for tea and more cake.
