The second wildflower walk in our area organised by Ian to up-date local records in preparation for a new county flora. And we always record other species seen, not just plants. All are welcome but no dogs please because there will still be ground nesting birds as well as farm livestock.

This time, just on the edge of Lewannick and North Hill parishes and covering three 1k squares south of Plusha to Tolcarne, west to Clitters and down around Stonaford. It is a nice walk up to a little known part of the moor and we should be in time to catch the last of the early summer flowers.

This is a route that we have covered before with Brian, Mary and Ian but that was some time ago now. Not too steep a climb up onto the moor and we will follow footpaths and bridle ways to cover the areas as well as possible.

Wear appropriate clothing and footwear; no marshes to cross but there maybe a wet patch or two!

As always, if the weather forecast is poor, please check with Ian in case he decides to cancel.

Equipment & Booking:
Appropriate clothing and footwear; sun cream/tick repellent; packed lunch and drinks; notebook, camera/phone, field guides, lens, binoculars. No dogs.
