Road corner north-east of Stourscombe Farm at SX34898388

Another botanical walk but this time just south-east of Launceston in the Stourscombe area and then west to Treniffle. We will be walking mainly along lanes and bridle ways so concentrating on hedgerows and verges which might not sound all that interesting but it is surprising what can be discovered. usually un-noticed when we whizz past in our cars.

Might be good Yellow-hammer country as well (we record other things, not just plants). Plants will be different on this kind of land, quite different to our acid granite moorland.

All welcome but probably best not to bring dogs because of farm livestock.

Bring a snack/packed lunch and drink and dress for the weather. Should be fairly dry underfoot but I have spotted a couple of streams on the map!

Please contact Ian if the weather forecast is bad.

Equipment & Booking:
Appropriate clothing and footwear; sun cream/tick repellent; packed lunch/snack/drink; camera/phone, note book, field guide, lens, binoculars. No dogs.
