A late winter walk to look for and record signs of spring in the Kensey Valley north of Tregadillet. This is a moderately easy two hour walk along lanes and footpaths with some long but not steep climbs. We're saying 10:30am for coffee to start promptly by 11am. And if the weather is poor, please check this web-site or phone in case we need to cancel.

The Kensey valley is very much a farming countryside with woods and some small fields and decent hedges left.

Best to park along the road by the pub although the start of the walk (coffee if you're early enough) will be at SX296840, the beginning of the foorpath by a small cemetery.

Wherever we go, mud is guaranteed so please wear waterproof boots or wellies. And dress for the weather!

Dogs on leads please because of farm livestock ~ it is lambing time so well behaved and totally obedient dogs only!

If you fancy a pub lunch afterwards, please make your own arrangements with the pub.

Equipment & Booking:
Waterproof footwear & outdoor clothing! Notebook, phone/camera, binoculars, a snack to get you up the hill.
