Lezant Village from the NE

There are only a few opportunities to look down from the higher land to the east of the parish to see Lezant Village nestling in the valley at 90m above sea level, guarded by groups of hills. Some of the hedgerows are trimmed well back, but there is an abundance of tall hedgrows and small copses to add variety to the landcape

This shot was taken from the minor road, close to the hamlet of Landue at roughly 130m.

Carrodon Hill is in the background on the left with Stowe's Hill just visible on the right.

Treburley from the east.

Treburley lies on the A388 - the main road running north-south through the parish, linking Launceston wth Callington and is one of the larger habitations in the parish. The photo shows only the tops of the many houses in the village, focussing on its setting
